Overview

SRF offers a wide range of high-performance reinforcements covering both nylon and polyester yarns and fabrics for diverse non-consumer and lifestyle applications. The company is not only the largest manufacturer of technical textiles in India but also enjoys a global leadership for most of the products under this business. SRF’s product basket for technical textiles contains tyre cord fabrics, belting fabrics, and industrial yarn.

The first plant of SRF was established in 1974 at Manali, Tamil Nadu. The plant is spread across an area of 136 acres and is capable of producing 14,400 Tons of Nylon-6 Tyre Cord Fabrics per year. The assembly line at the manufacturing unit comprises of poly, spinning, textile and dipping processes for N6 Chips, Yarns and Tyre Cord Fabrics. The Manali facility also houses an R&D center for new products and process development.

 

Malanpur

Gwalior, India

Situated at Malanpur, 22kms from Gwalior City, this plant was established in 1992 and acquired by SRF in 1996. The plant is spread over 43 acres and has a total production capacity of 77,600 Tons Per Annum (Chips – 29,200 TPA, Yarn – 26,800 TPA, Textile – 21,600 TPA). It is one of the most advanced plants with technology from Toray Inc., Japan to manufacture Nylon Tyre Cord (NTC yarn and fabric)

 

Gummidipoondi

With an in-campus 5 MWp Solar Power Plant, the Gummidipoondi plant in Tamil Nadu is spread across 162 Acres with 40 Acres of Green belt. The plant manufactures products such as Polyester Industrial Yarn, N6 Tyre Cord Fabric and Polyester Tyre Cord Fabric with a total capacity of 35,300 Tons per annum.

 

Viralimalai

Tamil Nadu, India

Viramalai plant in Tamil Nadu was established in 1983 and is spread in an area of close to 50 acres. The Plant manufactures and supplies a wide range of Belting Fabrics and Chafer Fabrics. The USP of this plant lies in the customization of dipped belting fabrics, offering a wide range of designs and products for special applications.
